Welcome to my shop! Please find below answers to common questions, in no particular order. If you have any other questions, please contact me through this shop or at cindylorraine@hotmail.com. Thank you!

1. What are your shipping and return policies?

Shipping within Canada and the United States is flat rate - you can add as much to your cart as you want and the shipping will not increase. The only exception to this is the 16/2 weaving cotton which may cost a little more to ship. Shipping within Canada and the US includes tracking.

Outside of Canada and the US, shipping costs vary. You will be charged per cake during checkout. If you are overcharged, you will see a shipping refund go through after I ship your order. Shipping outside of Canada and the US does not include tracking and I’m not responsible for lost parcels. Shipping to European countries can take 6-8 weeks to arrive. Shipping to Australia can take 12 weeks to arrive. Please do ask if you have any questions.

I don’t accept returns on yarn or patterns but please do contact me with any concerns regarding your order.

 

2. What about customs charges on my order?

Any customs/duties are the responsibility of the buyer.

 

3. What is your yarn made of?

My yarn is all 100% cotton! It is unmercerized and has a wonderfully soft drape yet is still a very durable yarn that is suitable for anything from wearables to blankets to dishcloths - let your imagination run wild!

 

4. Do your made-to-order items really take 2 weeks to ship?

Generally, no! Orders containing made-to-order items will usually ship in about 5 days, depending on the size of the order and how many orders I have at the time. If I don’t have yarn in stock to make your order (this is rare) I will order it and your order will take up to 2 weeks to ship. If this happens, I’ll let you know!

 

5. Do you make custom colourways?

I usually don’t make custom colourways anymore. If you three colours in the ‘solid colours’ listing that you would like to see together, that’s easy to do - please message me! 

6. You have so many colourways - how can I possibly choose?

This is, by far, the question I get asked the most! Having all my colourways listed means that you can get what you want anytime. The easiest way to choose is to put anything that catches your eye into your cart and then narrow it down until you have the amount of yarn you want. The cart is perpetual which means your items will stay in your cart while you decide.

 

7. Why is your yarn called Moca Cotton?

Moca stands for the first two letters of each word in Monsoon Calamity: Mo + Ca = Moca!

 

8. Does your shop have a wish list feature?

Yes! Next to any item is a heart - if you click on it, you will be prompted to sign into your account, or create an account if you don’t already have one, and then you can add anything you want to keep track of to your own personal wish list!
